One-77 technical showcase made its debut the Geneva Auto Salon on 3 March 2009. Chassis no.1 was on display as an exposé throughout the show detailing the quintessence of engineering and design expertise.

The Aston Martin One-77 fuses advanced technology with stunning design to enable the world’s most desirable automotive art form. Based on a sophisticated carbon fiber chassis with a handcrafted aluminum body, the 7.0 liter V12 supercar exhilarating performance for a strictly limited number will be required to provide demanding customers.

Take the 6.0-liter V12, as far as they could, both in terms of performance and weight reduction. The targets were a capacity of no less than 700bhp with a 10 percent reduction in engine mass. Amazingly, the Aston Martin was, Cosworth Engineering to a massive reduction of around 25 percent, and although we do not complete the final engine calibration work.

With an estimated weight of 1,500 kilograms of the One-77 the highest echelons of the performance of the car will be filled away. Top speed is expected with confidence to exceed 200 km / h with a 00-60 miles an hour time of around 3.5sec. Perhaps more importantly, thanks to the purity of a front-engine, rear-drive layout, the vigilance and the traceability of a vast atmospheric V12 and low mass, high stiffness properties of a carbon fiber chassis that promises one-77 a driving experience of an unprecedented intensity and tension while the world’s most desirable automotive art form.
