2010 buick enclave
[ Monday, May 10th, 2010 | by automotiveroom | under Buick, CAR, New Cars ]The 2010 Enclave is a 4-door, up to 8-passenger sport-utility, available in 6 trims, ranging from the CX FWD.
The Buick Enclave is a relatively recent entry in the luxury crossover SUV segment that has earned Buick some accolades, ending the brand’s string of so-so products. It shares a platform with GM’s latest group of large crossovers and features a fully independent suspension, a powerful 3.6-liter V6 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and optional all-wheel drive. The Enclave’s interior can accommodate adults in all three rows and offers up to 116 cubic feet of cargo room — more than many traditional full-size sport-utilities.

Performance & Efficiency: 3,564 cc 3.6 liters V 6 front engine with 94.0 mm bore, 85.6 mm stroke, 11.3 compression ratio, double overhead cam.
The Buick Enclave debuted for the 2008 model year. For that year, the V6 had a lower output of 275 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque. The following year welcomed the direct-injected 3.6-liter V6 (that boasted 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque) as well as other upgrades that included Bluetooth connectivity and a traffic feature for the navigation system. Unlike with the 2010 Enclave, there were just two trim levels base CX and luxury CXL — offered these first two years. Additionally for 2008 and ’09 models, the transmission could be lazy to downshift due to its fuel-economy-biased programming.
