ABT Sportsline German tuning specialists has had great success with their tuning kits for the Touareg since the SUV debuted in 2002. And now Voklswagen car maker with ABT Sportsline has unveiled a new tuning package for the 2011 Touareg. The new Touareg kit features both exterior and interior modifications, as well as an impressive engine update.

The ABT 2011 Volkswagen Touareg tuning program follows the idea that a 2.5 tonne car needs powerful engines, so the German company is now offering two power upgrades for the SUV’s 3.0-litre TDI engines and one for the 4.2-litre TDI.

The standard 240 PS and 177 kW packed by the stock V6 on the 3.0-TDI models have been increased to 282 PS (207 kW) and 310 PS (228 kW) respectively, while the 4.2-litre TDI on the ABT 2011 Volkswagen Touareg is now able to generate 385 PS (283 kW).

The impression that the ABT Touareg is a formidably dominant automobile, which comes across as elegant and dominant, is further underlined by the designer wheels ABT BR and CR. Both alloys are available in different sizes up to a powerful 22 inch version.
