The improved fuel efficiency, leading aerodynamics and available All-Wheel Control (AWC) system, the new vehicle takes premium value for the entry-level Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV) market. The crossover gets a 148hp MIVEC-equipped 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual transmission in value-ES-rich models. A six-speed paddle-shifted CVT transmission is magnesium in ES models and is standard in the Premium SE models.
With the 148hp 2.0-liter DOHC MIVEC 4-cylinder engine, a high contrast LCD Instrument Panel, Electric Power Steering (EPS) and five-speed manual transmission with available six-speed paddle-shifted CVT magnesium efficiency balance and traction, the SE’s available electronically controlled 4WD system AWC is designed for all driving conditions. AWC uses a driver-select button 2WD, 4WD Auto and 4WD lock modes. With the ability to evenly distribute power, yet high fuel consumption, AWC handling, increased stability and traction under all conditions.
