2013 Ford C-MAX Hybrid
Ford C-MAX hybrid based on the new Ford C-MAX five-passenger multi-activity vehicle, the C-MAX hybrid will be built adjacent to the new Focus 2012 Ford Focus in Michigan and Electric, the Ford plant Assembly in Wayne, Mich. The Energi C-MAX C-MAX and hybrid vehicles sold in Europe in 2013 will be built at the Ford plant in Valencia, Spain, from 2013.
Ford C-MAX Hybrid systems use advanced lithium-ion batteries developed and assembled at Ford’s Michigan local. Each system is cleverly designed to maximize the use of common components, high quality, such as hardware control card that has been demonstrated in actual field performance of Ford, hybrid vehicles hailed by critics.
Li-ion packs offers a number of advantages over nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries that power today’s hybrid vehicles. In general, are 25 to 30 percent smaller and 50 percent lighter, which makes them easier to package in a vehicle, and can be adjusted to increase the power to increase acceleration or to increase energy to extend the driving distance.
